KIBAALE COMMUNITY CENTRE CLINIC
You can help provide quality health care in the Rakai District in Uganda by giving to the Kibaale Community Centre Clinic. Your donation will be used to provide medical care to 16,000 patients annually which includes prenatal care for women, immunizing 1,200 babies annually, purchasing necessary supplies like antibiotics, treatment for at least 5,000 cases of malaria annually, and HIV/AIDS tests and treatment in an area with the highest rate of infection in the country. We also provide free healthcare to the students currently attending the Kibaale Community Centre School as well as members of their family. The cost of running the Kibaale Community Centre Clinic is $100,000 per year.
KIBAALE COMMUNITY CENTRE KITCHEN
In 2018 we provided 688,380 meals to the staff and students. Most of the students in our school come from the most vulnerable home situations, the meal they eat while at school is likely the only one they will have each day. The cost of running this necessary program at the Kibaale Community Centre Schools is $50,000 per year.
KIBAALE COMMUNITY CENTRE
The best route for some of our students after Primary School is a certificate in a Vocation. Over the years we have found that most of the students who complete one of the 4 programs we offer; Hotel Management, Brick Laying, Tailoring, or Carpentry, go on to find meaningful employment. Due to the internships and supplies needed to run this school individual sponsorships do not cover our costs. The cost of running the Kibaale Community Centre Vocational School is $30,000 per year.
KIBAALE COMMUNITY CENTRE WHERE NEEDED MOST
The Kibaale Community Centre has been transforming lives in the Rakai District of Uganda by providing healthcare, development resources and a quality Christian education to the most vulnerable in our community. Each of the nursery, primary, secondary and vocational students are chosen from disadvantaged homes in a region that has been devastated by HIV/AIDS and extreme poverty. The care each of these children receives from dedicated staff members allows them to overcome their challenging circumstances, improve their lives and the lives of their families. We would love for you to consider becoming a partner of Kuwasha as we continue our work supporting the Kibaale Community Centre in Uganda.
