Kuwasha is igniting change in Uganda through education, healthcare, clean water, and agriculture. Your gift helps our staff, families, and communities build a brighter future.

Your contribution to the Kibaale Health Centre will support medical care for over 26,000 patients each year, including maternity services, overnight wards, immunizations, and essential supplies like antibiotics and malaria treatments. We also focus on HIV/AIDS testing and treatment in an area with the highest infection rates in the country. Running the Health Centre costs over $200,000 annually.

Each year, we provide nearly 700,000 meals to staff and students at the Kibaale Community Centre. For many students from vulnerable backgrounds, the meal they receive at school is often their only meal of the day. Running this essential program costs $50,000 annually.

Thrive Gardens is our agriculture initiative that teaches parents how to grow healthy food through sustainable gardening. At our school, the Thrive Garden helps us serve better meals to students and staff.

Next year, we plan to expand the program to improve food security and health across our community. Just $125 trains and equips one family. Our goal is to reach 365 families in 2025!

Water is essential to life. Access to clean water can be a challenge for families in Kibaale. Donating towards a water project makes a significant difference to the overall health of the community.

The Kuwasha Coffee Company has over 150 acres for coffee farming. With a team of 85, we’ve planted 50,000 seedlings and have 21,000 more in our nursery. Every $10,000 donation allows us to plant an additional 2.5 acres and invest in the company’s growth.

Timothy Girls High School in Masaka, offers a safe and supportive boarding school environment where girls can earn qualifications for university. While many students pay tuition, several rely on scholarships for their education. Your donation can help provide scholarships for deserving students.

Jeff and Shannon Dyck (Executive Director and Program Director) and their four children—Joel, Avin, Finn, and Mazzy—have been involved with the Kibaale Community Centre since 2008. They are committed to supporting Kibaale in providing high-quality Christian education, assisting vulnerable students and their families through sponsorship, and working towards breaking the cycle of poverty.

Student Sponsorship invites individuals and families to provide monthly support for a specific student at our school. Each student receives quality Christian education, nutritious meals, healthcare for their family, and access to community development programs.

The cost is $80 per month per student, typically shared between two sponsors at $40 each. Both options are offered, and 100% of sponsorship funds go directly to Uganda.

Maize flour is a staple food in Uganda eaten as porridge for breakfast, a thicker consistency is made for dinner.

Gift baskets include a basin of basic necessities; such as soap, cooking oil, tea, rice and salt.

Maize flour plus a variety of nutritious food and soap to last a family for one month.

With this gift the student will go to the market with a staff member to choose a new outfit and shoes for themselves.

The gift of a bed set includes a mattress, sheet set, warm blanket and a mosquito net.

Buying a family a goat provides food, milk and a potential source of income.

This filtration system eliminates all common waterborne diseases found in water that is from bore holes and rivers. It provides up to a million litres of clean drinking water for a family.

A bicycle not only shortens the time spent going to and from school but is used by the whole family to carry water and firewood.

This gift card can be given in any amount, for basic needs, or for larger necessities that may arise. You can choose to give this gift to a specific student or where most needed.

$3000 – A mud home package will drastically improve a families life. It includes a mud home, kitchen, pit latrine and installation of a water collection system (rain gutter and barrel).

$6000 – This brick home package will give shelter to a family for generations. It includes a sturdy brick home (complete with concrete floor and plastering), kitchen, pit latrine and installation of a water collection system (rain gutter and barrel).
