Thrive Gardens: Empowering Kibaale Through Agriculture
In Kibaale, many families face food insecurity and limited access to nutritious meals. Through our Thrive Gardens program, we’re helping families grow their own food, improve nutrition, and create income-generating opportunities.
At the Kibaale School students now enjoy fresh vegetables like spinach, eggplant, tomatoes, and kale, boosting their health, energy, and focus. Improved nutrition has also helped reduce malaria cases.
Through our Impact Gardens program, 2,376 students from schools in our community are receiving nutritious lunches for the very first time, making a real difference in their lives.
This year, 120 people have been trained, with 365 expected by the end of the year. Each person trained represents an entire family now eating better, staying healthier, and building a more sustainable future.

With your help, we can expand Thrive Gardens even further, reaching more families, feeding more children, and building a healthier, stronger community in Kibaale. Every donation makes a difference.
