Construction Update
The students are now on term break but it is not quiet in Kibaale, there is construction happening on every end of the compound!
In addition to our existing medical day clinic there will now be an overnight ward and also a maternity clinic with delivery rooms. These are huge needs in our community so we are very excited for this health centre expansion.
The nursery school and primary school is getting a full renovation, inside and out. While the kids were still at school we started working on the outside; a new shed roof and gutter system to catch more water and all new retaining walls. Flooding and erosion are huge problems on this part of the property but these changes should really help. Now that the students are on term break we will work on painting the classrooms, new blackboards and repairs to all of the windows.
In Masaka two new dormitories are going up that will allow for 200 more girls to study at the Timothy Girls High School.
Things have been progressing very well, we are on schedule and staying on budget!
