Why is sponsorship important to you?

“We have been sponsoring students at Kuwasha for about three years. Sponsorship has become so important to our family and is something we take great joy in being a part of. We feel truly grateful for the blessings God has given our family, and our hearts break knowing that there are other families in the world who don’t have access to the same resources that we do – clean drinking water, a safe place to sleep at night, a warm meal, and the ability to access education and medical treatment. We felt a call on our hearts to show God’s love and do what we could to fight against the cycle of poverty in these families. Sponsorship has provided us with this incredible opportunity to walk alongside these families and help provide their basic needs – whether that is supporting the students in school, allowing them to access medical care when needed, and buying food and clothing for the family. Jess has also had the opportunity to visit Kibaale and see firsthand how the money goes directly to the families and the significant impact it can have on the whole community.

The gift of sponsorship has expanded our family in an incredible way. We love receiving letters and photos of our sponsor students and their families, and have added these photos to our fridge. It has been a privilege to watch our students grow and hear their stories of what they are going through, and being able to love them and serve them in whatever way we can. The greatest gift is being able to pray for these students and their families, and hearing the stories of how God is moving in their lives. We are so appreciative of the connection we have with these families on the other side of the world and look forward to seeing them hopefully one day soon!” Connor & Jess Stroscher
